Pull-In China - Ecommerce Platform

 

The Challenge

Pull-in is a high-end international fashion brand of underwear. After launching their online store for Europe and America on store.pull-in.com, the brand planned to sell its products in Asia, starting with China, Hong-Kong and Taiwan. While the distributors in China had the full support of the headquarters, they could not share the same ecommerce platform and had to do another website by using the same technology and design, but no access to the program or design files: all had to be rebuilt.

The Solution

Pull-in China has selected Bysoft to build their ecommerce website based on Magento by replicating the design and features of the initial website and localize it to the Greater China region.

Bysoft’s work consisted in:

Recreate the web design and apply it identically

With the agreement of Pull-In brand, our designers recreated the original design and applied it on the new website. This operation implied an important reorganization of Magento's front-end structure showing our capacity to highly customize Magento's interface.

Setup a multi-website structure

Pull-In China holds 3 websites (China, Hong-Kong, Taiwan) with 2 languages for each (English and Simplified or Traditional Chinese) on only 1 back-end. For each website, the prices are set in a specific currency matching the targeted area (Chinese Yuan, Hong Kong Dollar and Taiwan Dollar), which allows the merchant to set up the prices according to the marketing plan fitted for each country.
Each website also has specific online payment solution and shipping methods matching the related country (ex: Alipay, Paypal, Shunfeng Express Delivery)

Development of specific features

We developed a couple of small features to improve the user experience and match the new website with the initial one such as enhanced browsing experience enabled by pictures representing the products options to search, orientation home page, etc...

The Results

Pull-In China has successfully launched its ecommerce website. The seamless integration of the identical design ensures the continuous and consistent high-quality image of the brand up to the Asia region bringing great satisfaction to the French brand owner. Pull-In may continue its expansion to other countries in Asia!
